Inotify and checkpoint/restart

Three options for dealing with inotify are:

  1. Don't support it.
    1. This is what we're doing now.
    2. Checkpoint is refused with a helpful log message.
  2. Translate inodes being watched to pathnames at checkpoint, and back at restart
  3. Use a filesystem which lets us restore inode numbers at restart.
